School Uniform

The Wearing of School Uniform is COMPULSORY.

Walton-le-dale Art College & High School

Parents should ensure that their children arrive at school wearing full uniform. It identifies each child as belonging to Walton-le-Dale. We are proud of our students and believe that their corporate appearance in public and in private is an indication of the success of the school as an institution and the student as an individual.

Students should arrive at and depart from school in full uniform. All items of uniform/kits can be purchased from school.

Blazers should be worn at all times by all students. They may be removed in class at the discretion of the teacher. A jumper in place of a blazer should NOT be worn. Outdoor clothing is NOT allowed to be worn in school at any time. Trainers must NOT be worn in school apart from in Physical Education lessons.

Any request for permission to be excused wearing an item of uniform must be made in writing to the form tutor giving the reason and the period for which it is sought. The school has items of uniform which may be lent to a student without the correct attire.
